On a composite airplane that will be painted with Ekocrylic, is it better to use Ekopoxy or Ekoprime as the primer? Why?

    Thanks,
    Dan

My suggestion is to use EkoPrime. It is easier to work with. You won’t have any waste because it’s single part, you can dump it right back in the can. It sands really nice. EkoPoxy is used mainly for for metal airframes in a corrosive environment such as salt water, or if it will be exposed to harsh chemicals or solvents, fuel, etc… For most applications, EkoPrime is the way to go. Especially with a composite aircraft where corrosion is not an issue.
