Thought I had the fuselage ready for Eko-poly then I noticed that I did not have the openings for the rudder cables cut out, my question is can I put the cable fairing and a fabric patch over all the eko-fill and eko-prime or should I remove as much as I can in the area of the patch. If removal is necessary what is the best way, sanding, MEK or ? Glad I caught thus before the color coat!

I personaly don’t add a fabric patch over that area. I paint the airplane, cut the notch for the cable, then glue the letherette tear-drop shaped patch over the top

If you want to add a fabric patch then just glue it on now and keep on going. No need to get down to bare fabric.
