    Hello,

This is a water based finish. I liked the few minutes cure time before being able to apply another coat. I do not know what I did wrong with the first two attempts but the finish did not apply smoothly. My wife wanted a pepper mill. I am applying my normal Minwax Wipe-On-Poly to three mills. This takes me many days to build up a decent film. I wanted something quick. I decided to give my can of Woodturners Finish another try. Since this was for the home, if it did not work or hold up over time, I will be able to sand down and go back to Wipe-On-Poly. I started applying the finish yesterday. I could have completed this in a day, but some distractions with the coal stove resulted in completing this today.
