Am interested in your EkoPoly paint. Finishing an RV-9A all aluminum kitplane already primed with Stits EP-420 white primer. I would like to finish coat without having to re-prime. Do you have any information or feedback on this combination of primer/paint? I don’t want to do a trial experiment due to not being able to do long term testing.

You should be fine. Just clean, scuff, and clean again before spraying any paint. Make sure you don’t leave any residue on the surface from scuffing. Waterborne paints bond extremely well to a clean dry surface with a little tooth to them.

Primer Compatibility Cont: Shot some EcoPrime for the first time this weekend, really like it. Easy to apply and provides super coverage. I have a need to prime over some components that already have a coat of zinc phosphate. Is the EcoPrime compatible with zinc phosphate when applied on top?

Keith, you can apply Ekoprime over the zinc phosphate.  Ekoprime will adhere to that without any compatibility issue as long as it is scuffed and clean.  Just make sure the zinc phosphate has been applied correctly and has good adhesion.
