Has anyone considered this as an alternative to an expensive compressor+hvlp gun or turbine system. I saw a YouTube video painting a tubular hand truck, very interesting: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RyPEQmcn-tE

What is attractive to this spray gun is that it uses a conventional compressor – one found in most DIY workshops or hangers. Give me your thoughts using this as an alternative.

Hi Chuck,
I used a small (4 cfm) Harbor Freight gun for priming and painting small parts. I even used an airbrush to do striping. Worked fine, but when you have a wing or fuselage to paint, you need the right tool.
