Getting ready to start my first ever paint job on my Vans RV-10 and I had one question.

The RV-10 has plexy windows where the paint overlaps the plexy by about 3/4 inch. Therefore a paint line defines the edge of the windows. My question is can I leave the tape line on the plexy after EkoPrime and keep it there for the EkoPoly coat, or do I need to remove the tape after EkoPrime and re-tape before applying EkoPoly? I was concerned with it being difficult to remove the tape if I left it on as the EkoPrime dried and EkoPoly was applied.

Try to avoid leaving tape on a surface for more than 48 hours. On the plexi it wont be that hard to do. Make sure to use the vinyl fineline tape not paper masking tape. You can leave the tape on for both the primer and paint.
