Stewart Systems Steel Conversion Coating is a non-hazardous rust converter and protective coating that performs two operations at one time. First, rust is converted from iron oxide to ferrous oxide, a black organic complex. Next, a clear acrylic coating is formed. The surface can be left as is but we recommend top coating with EkoCrylic or EkoPoly for maximum durability. Steel Conversion Coating is ideal for use anywhere on a steel or chrome-moly airframe that shows signs of corrosion. It can be used just on trouble spots or on the entire airframe.
